You can’t have a seasonal makeup collection without lipstick. I am in love with the Lisa Eldridge True Velvet Lip Collection. In fact, these lipsticks were the first makeup in the Lisa Eldridge Makeup Line. One reason I love the True Velvet Lipsticks is they have an incredible formula. Also, the pigmented lipstick shade range is awesome. Last, once applied to your lips, they looked like velvet material. Gorgeous! Now, the new Spring/Summer Collection 2021, not only includes Lisa’s New Liquid Highlighter, and New Cream Blush, it also includes another one of Lisa’s popular lipsticks. Namely, the Lisa Eldridge Lucent Lip Color, a light, easy to wear formula, has a sheer finish, with just one swipe.
In this way, the comfortable, smooth, light formula is perfect for summer. Especially, because nobody wants to wear a heavy, velvety lipstick , at the beach, in July. Finally, the formula is not new, but there are seven brand new lisa Eldridge Lucent Lip Color Shades.
You can find the Lisa Eldridge Lucent Lip Color in the new shades on the Lisa Eldridge Website. Also, the Lucent Lip Color Lipstick ( 0.12 oz / 3.5g ) costs $36.
The Packaging For The Lisa Eldridge Lucent Lip Color
To begin, the highlighter comes packaged in a white outer box. Lisa’s L and lips logo is on the front in gold. Also, the writing on the front of the box is also gold. Then, the writing on the back of the box, including the ingredient list, is in black.
Next, the lipstick bullet is a mate cold shade. On top of the lipstick bullet is an engraved Lisa Eldridge Logo. 
To open, simply pull up on the lid. Even more, to close the bullet, put the lid on, and you will feel the magnetic closure pulling on the lid, until it clicks closed. One thing I love about the magnetic closure is the secure hold it has on the lid. Therefore, the lipstick stays safe. As a result, it makes the Lucent Lip Color very travel-worthy.
The actual lipstick has the Lisa Eldridge logo engraved on the lipstick.
The packaging boxes are all recyclable.
The Formula For The Lisa Eldridge Lucent Lip Color
To start,the popular formula has a semi-sheer coverage, with a satin finish. Also, the lipstick is an easy to wear cream formula. Therefore, it is the perfect summer formula. The lipstick has a smooth balm-like feel, that easily glides on your lips. I love that the formula is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and it gives your lips a light hydrated feel.
Finally, the formula is 100% Cruelty Free, Vegan, Paraba-Free, Fragrance-Free, Talc-Free, Fragrance-Free, Gluten-Free, Talc-Free, Alcohol-Free, Nylon 12 -Free, and Silicone-free.
The Lisa Eldridge Lucent Lip Color Shades
First, the new color range goes from “your lips but better” shades to “bright” shades. I purchased two shades, Rose Official, and Love Of My Life.
First, Love of My Life,the only shade that is a restock, a bright, cheerful, rosy pink shade, has a satin finish. It is a bright summery shade. 
Second, I purchased Rose Official, a mid-tone rose-pink shade, with blue undertones, has a satin finish. Also, Rose Official is more of a “your lips but better” shade.

The shades I didn’t purchase are, Dance Card, a subdued coral-peach shade, has a satin finish. Spirited Away, a red-brown shade with pinky warm undertones, has a satin finish. Also, Painterly, a red chocolate brown shade with cool blue undertones, gives your lips a bitten look.Then, Kitten Mischief, not too pink, not too brown, not too orange, not too peach shade, has a satin finish. Since Kitten Mischief is not one particular color, it is a great shade that goes with everything. Last, Atomic Cherry, a sheer radio-active red, has a satin finish. Additionally, Atomic Cherry will give you a bright pop of color.
My Final Thoughts On The Lisa Eldridge Lucent Lip Color Shades….
I’m almost finished with my reviews of the entire Lisa Eldridge Spring/Summer 2021 Collection. Only Lip Gloss is left. Anywhooo, I agree with Lisa, the Lucent Lip Color Shades are perfect for summer. 
Also, the sheer finish is a perfect summer lip. However, I like more intense color.

Therefore, you can build the Lucent Lip Color by adding a few more swipes of lipstick. As a result, you will get rewarded with a satin finish. Still, I love the way the lipstick feels on my lips. It glides on, and feels moisturizing. Your lips will feel hydrated.
