I am a huge fan of Juvia’s Place Eye Shadow Palettes. I love them all because their shades are uber-pigmented ( I love them for that), they are cruelty free ( being the animal lover that I am, with nine dogs, three parrots, and an Iguana named Claire, I love them for that!) the actual size of this palette is BIG, and the 16 pans of eye shadows inside are ginourmous! Compared to some of the other palettes I am loving this summer, Juvia’s The Magic palette is definitely one of them.

I love the exotic feel of all of their eye shadow palettes. They take me on an exotic journey to African Festivals, Trips to the Desert, Masquerade parties, and Now with their newest, The Magic palette, inspired by the Sun and the Moon Goddesses, tell the story of how opposites – cool and warm- can come together to create another masterpiece.

The inside of the palette has 16 ultra-pressed pigments, in warm and cool tones, with mattes, metallics, shimmers, and even a duochrome. The pans each hold a huge amount of product, and I love the exotic women that represent The Magic inside! The vibrant, exotic hues are gorgeous!

Nubia is a gorgeous metallic gold shade that would make any of us feel like a goddess of the sun!

I left my watch on to show how vibrant this metallic gold looks on my skin. It shines like sunshine.

I love the red in this beautiful brown shade. It reminds me of Indian Summer. A gorgeous crease shade, or liner, or a smoke it out shade. Love it!

i love this icy metallic shade of pink. This is such a cool tone, after the two warm ones above. I would wear this on my lid, or use it as a highlighter. It is a gorgeous, fun shade!

I feel more ice princess than moon goddess with this one.

Kesi is a matte shade that can be worn as a base allover the eye, as a highlighter, and even used as a thin liner to pop the eye!

Extremely Metallic Pink, cool toned. Wear it on your eye lid, as a highlighter on your brow bone, have fun with this one.

Nana is a gorgeous matte with a teeny touch of shimmer to it. I would love this as a crease shade. It is a warm suede-like brown , and can be worn on the outer corner of the eye.

Boronu is a cool toned metallic brown.
It has some gold in it. I would wear this on my eye lid. It looks to me like it has some peach in it as well, but the silver makes it transitional, from warm to cool.
Suntanned skin looks great with Kogi. It is a blue-pink, a cool shade. Believe it or not, I would wear this as a blush, or at the outer corner of my eye, as a transition between my crease and highlighter.

Faso is absolutely gorgeous. It is a duo-chrome, purple with a light blue shimmer. I love duo-chrome shades because they look one way in one light, and when you move a certain way, the color changes. I Can’t Wait to wear this one on my lids!

I am mad about teals, and this cool toned teal shade is no exception! I can’t wait for this one, definitely on my eye lids- a really smokey look! Even as a liner because it looks really dark.

I love that this shade is a duo-chrome as well, a smokey teal, and a light teal shift.

Vai is a beautiful gunmetal metallic shade. I like this on the eye lid.

This gorgeous icy blue cool shade is perfect to highlight the brow bone, or wear on the eye lids. This reminds me of winter ice.

Personally, with a suntan I would wear this on my lid, or in the outer corner of the eye ,

This gorgeous green is the shade that my iguana, Claire, turns when she has spent the afternoon in the sunshine. it is a cool emerald-like shade of green

On my skin it turns a pretty shade of steel blue

INavy blue is a favorite color of mine. I love it as an eye liner, or a blue smokey eye would look amazing with this shade.
The Magic Palette is a winner. I love the contrasting tones of cool and warm. It is a great contrast, but it works for this magical palette. I had written to Juvia when the palette was released because I couldn’t even get on a waiting list. I explained to them that I wanted to share it with you all, and I was surprised to receive it shortly afterward. I think makeup should be fun, and this palette has what it takes to create many fun, and serious looks. It is so versatile, you have create looks that are great for the day, and you can go insane with your nighttime looks. The colors really wow me every time I receive another palette from Juvia’s Place. I love the size of the palette, I would love it if they would include a mirror. It may be a little large to throw in your handbag. I love the vibrant pigments in this palette, there is something for everyone! There may be some fall out with some of the powders, but remember, these are pressed pigments, so you have to expect a little fallout. No big deal, really! I love that it is not like all the sunset shade palettes that every other brand has put out in the last few months They are starting to look the same to me. This palette is so exciting!
What are Your Thoughts? Hope you all have a great July 4th holiday! How were the fireworks?
You Are Awesome!
