Recently, Huda launched her fall Haze Eyeshadow Palettes. Do you have any of her 3 Huda Obsessions Mini Palettes? Then, you know exactly what the Haze Palettes are all about. First, the Haze Palettes, like the Obsession Palettes, are also mini. Also, they both have 9 shades. Even more, both formulas are the same. However, the Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palettes are different shades that are perfect for the autumn and winter months. The reason is , the shades are slightly susky, muted hues. As a result, the shades are softer than the Obsession shades. In fact, the Haze shades are Huda’s modern take on a smokey eye. In this way, the new eye uses earthy tones that feel very autumnal.
Interestingly, another reason Huda went with a Hazey, muted eye is a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. For one thing, now, we spend more time at home, than we ever have before. As a result, we dress more casually. Now, our looks are way more relaxed! Before the Covid, I barely wore sweatshirts. Now, I have a whole sweatshirt wardrobe! And, Huda realized that our ” at home style” is influencing street style. Fashion is more casual. Therefore, muted tones compliment that shift. However, the shadows still have a glam factor. Thank you for that, Huda!
You can find the new Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palettes at Sephora, and on Huda’s Website. Also, the Haze Palettes (9 X 0.2 oz. / 5.8g.) cost $29 each. The Haze Palette comes in Khaki Haze, Sand Haze, and Purple Haze.
Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palettes Packaging
To begin with, I purchased the Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palette Bundle. First, the bundle came in the gorgeous HudaBeauty case that is above.
THE BUNDLE INCLUDES THE CASE, THE HAZE PALETTE IN SAND, AND THE HAZE LIQUID MATTE MINIS IN FOUR SHADES. Even more, the Haze Obsessions Set comes with either the Sand, Khaki, or Purple Haze Eyeshadow Palette. Inside the case, is the Haze Eyeshadow Palette of your choice, and the Haze Liquid Matte Minis. Also, you can only find this bundle on the Huda Beauty Website. The Bundle costs $45.
On the other hand, if you purchase the Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palettes separately, they come in see-through plastic packaging. In addition, the plastic compact is the same shade as the color of the palette. Inside, there are nine pans, in three rows. On the other side of the eyeshadows, is a full-sized mirror.
Finally, the Liquid Matte Minis come in a tube that is frosted. The reason is because the shades that are in the tubes, look hazy.
The Formula For The Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palettes
INGREDIENTS FOR THE HAZE KHAKI EYESHADOW PALETTE
First, the richly pigmented eyeshadows have very little fallout! Although, the shades are earth fall tones, that create a softer smokey eye. In addition, the matte shades feel buttery. Also, the Metallic shades are intense. Finally, the shimmering shades are soft eyeshadow toppers. EAch palette has shades that will highlight, liner and define your eyes.

The Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palette in Sand
Let’s start with the Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palette in Sand. First, the mattes are creamy, nude shades. Then, the metallics are pink shades and bronze shades. Finally, The Shimmer shade is a rose gold shimmer.

The Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palette in Khaki
Next, the Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palette in Khaki is Huda’s favorite Haze Palette. It happens to be my favorite, too. First, the palette is an edit of olive and caramel hued matte shades. Next, the shimmers are warm brown shimmers. Finally, the topper is a gold/pink shade with a duochrome finish.

The third palette, the Huda Haze Purple Eyeshadow Palette, has mauve and nude matte shades. Also, the metallic shades are violet and copper. Finally, the shimmers are dazzling lavender and bronze shades. I only purchased the Sand and Khaki palette. One reason is, I recently purchased the Urban Decay Ultra Violet Palette! There are only so many purple shades one woman can wear!
How To Use the Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palettes?
I followed Huda’s recommendations on how to use the Haze Eyeshadows. First, huda suggests you use the mattes to build your base. Second, she suggests to use a dense, flat brush to pick up metallics and shimmers. Then, for fuller coverage, or a foil effect, add a layer of metallic shadow using your fingers, a damp brush, or a sponge applicator. Then, for a pearlescent glow, use the shimmer shades on top of your eyeshadows.
In addition, use the deeper shades in your crease. Then, use the brush across your eyelid, and in your crease. Finally, blend out the deep matte shades with a fluffy brush. In this way, you are adding definition and shape to your eyes.
Next, For Softer looks, build a light base with the matte shades. Then, add eye topper shimmer shades across your eyelids. You can use a flat brush, or your fingers.
Even more, you can use the topper shades and the metallics to line your lower lash lines. And, put these shades in your inner corners.

My Final Thoughts On the Huda Haze Eyeshadow Palettes…….
The Haze Eyeshadow Palettes have slightly dusty, muted eyeshadow shades. Therefore, they are perfect for these autumn months. Furthermore, these palettes are Huda’s modern take on a smokey eye. Since fashion now is casual, and more relaxed, Huda’s muted tones compliment that style shift. I really enjoy using these palettes. Of course, the Khaki palette is my favorite. I love that they are not all pink and red shades! Also, the shades appear deeper in the Khaki palette. Again, that makes the palette perfect for fall.

One thing I would like to make perfectly clear. That is, the shimmer shades are eyeshadow toppers.

Therefore, they aren’t as richly pigmented as the matte and metallic shades. The reason is, they are meant to be worn on top of these richly pigmented eyeshadows.
PS
What eyeshadow palettes are you guys interested in this fall? Did you notice, there aren’t as many makeup releases as there have been in the past.
