Huda Brown Obsessions Mini Palettes

I didn’t know that an eyeshadow palette could make you feel hungry.  So, why am I craving a piece of chocolate? For one thing, I am going to blame it on the Huda Brown Obsessions Mini Palettes.  In addition, the palettes come in Chocolate, Caramel and Toffee Flavors!  However, when I read the shade names, all chocolate flavors, my mouth starts watering.  Even more, I  want a piece of chocolate. Right now!  Although, right now I’ll have to settle for some Chocolate and Caramel Huda Brown Obsessions Mini palettes.

Finally, I have been a fan of some of the other Huda Obsessions Palettes: Huda Nude Obsessions, Huda Mauve Obsessions and Huda Gold Obsessions. One reason is they are compact and portable.  Also, Huda does an amazing job with her color stories. Above all, they are easy to use!

You can find the Huda Brown Obsessions Mini Palettes at Sephora, Selfridges, and on the Huda Beauty Website.  Also, the Brown Obsessions Palette (0.26 oz. / 7.5g) costs $29 each.

Huda Brown Obsessions Mini Palettes Chocolate and Caramel Packaging

To start, the outer packaging is clear plastic.  Therefore, you can see through to the actual compact.  Next, the compact is considered to be a “mini” palette.  In addition, the measurements of the palette are 3.1″wide x 3.4″deep x 0.6″ high.

Even more, the front of the palette is an animal print, a leopard, with dark brown spots.  However, the Chocolate Palette has a chocolate background.  Additionally, the Caramel Palette has a caramel background!

Finally, the compact opens by lifting the lid up, and closes by pushing the lid down until you hear a click.  Inside, there is a nice large mirror underneath the lid.  Then, on the other side of the mirror are the nine eyeshadow shades, in three rows of three.

To start with, the nine eyeshadows come in three formulas.  First, three of the shades are created with the classic, creamy, and buttery matte formula.  Even more, the formula has rich pigments that are easy to blend.  Next, the metallic formula is a super, sparkly metallic foil.  Also, the metallic shades have great color payoff. Although,if you want more intensity, either use a damp brush,or your fingers to apply. The shades that have a shimmer finish are sheer. For more intensity, use your finger, and apply two layers.  Last, an all new Texture, a pearl flake texture, appears in one of the palettes.

Huda Brown Obsessions Mini Palettes :  How To Use The Shades

To start with, build your base with the matte shades.  Then, use a dense flat brush, pick up the metallics and marble shimmers.  Next, For a full-foiled effect, use your fingers, and add a layer of a metallic shade.

Also important, blending is key to using the deeper shades.  Therefore use brushes to get a smooth finish, both in your crease and across the lid of your eye.  Even more, for a softer look, blend out the deep matte shades.  Also, use the deep matte shades in your crease, in the outer corners of your eyes, and to line your lower lash lines.

Finally, for daytime looks, build a light base with the matte shades.  Next, Swipe, using your finger, or a flat brush, the shimmer shades across your eyelids.  Then, finish your look using a metallic shade on the inner corners of your eyes, and your lower lash lines.

My Final Thoughts On The Huda Brown Obsessions MIni Palettes in Chocolate and Caramel…….

Not all Brown Palettes are the same!  Therefore, Huda gives us so many options in this collection. In fact, I haven’t yet looked at the Toffee Palette!  I love all of these curated Obsessions Palettes.  First, they are compact.  Second, they are portable, and very travel-friendly!  Finally, the shades in both palettes are beautiful.  In addition, compared to the cost of many palettes, these are really reasonably priced!
