Cystic Acne is very painful. Furthermore, it is difficult to find a Cystic Acne Solution that will give you instant, gratifying results. I have suffered from cystic acne breakouts ever since I was a teenager. And, today I’m still suffering from cystic acne. Because I’m in the midst of another breakout. instead of doing the same old, same old, I purchased the Buffering Lotion.

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion was specifically designed to target large, under-the-surface cysts. Therefore, it works to help reduce the appearance your existing bumps. However, it isn’t a solution that will prevent cystic acne breakouts. Clearly you should only use it as a spot treatment when you are having active cystic breakouts.
The formula is lightweight and it has a runny, watery consistency.
Also, when it dries down, it leaves a white chalky residue behind. 
Specifically, the formula includes gentle ingredients. For example, the formula includes ingredients allantoin and niacinamide. First, they help normalize the skin. Furthermore, they can help improve the look of the active cysts.

Again, only apply the lotion on the actual affected areas. Also, apply the Buffering Lotion in the evening. First, wash your face and fingers. Next, use your fingers to apply a few drops to the cyst. Do not apply anything over the areas once you have treated them. Hence, do not put moisturizes or night creams over the treated cysts.

In General, Mario Badescu’s focus is on their simple, yet powerful formula. As a result, they don’t have fancy, colorful packaging. In fact, the Buffering Lotion doesn’t come in a box. The packaging is a clear, plain plastic bottle with a white cap.
Once the lid is twisted off, the bottle can be gently squeezed and the lotion will come out of the top, drop by drop. The Brand has been around for over 50 years. Their generic packaging puts their focus on the product. The result of their having no frills packaging allows them to keep the actual price point down on a quality product.

My only complaint is the Buffering Lotion is drying on the skin. Moreover, my skin is extremely dry to begin with. Therefore, it is important to follow the directions and only treat the areas that need to be treated.
Moreover, I’m not claiming that the Buffering lotion has completely made my cysts go away-because it hasn’t. However, after using it for over a week it has 100% helped to shrink the cysts. It is a good thing because that is pretty much what the injections, the medications, and the retinols creams do. Above all, I prefer Mario Badescu’s Cystic Acne Solution over all of the other alternatives.
