Allure Beauty Box December 2017

Do any of you remember the Becca highlighter Compact that almost broke the internet?  Specifically,  it was  a face palette collaboration with You Tuber, Jaclyn Hill, and Becca Cosmetics.  Moreover, Jaclyn co-created her favorite shade, Champagne Pop, which became the new highlighter in the Face Palette.  Then, Becca Cosmetics created the Jaclyn Hill/Becca Compact, a face palette that included the new shade, Champagne Pop. Now, the popular Jaclyn Hill, who has 4.5 million You Tube followers, co-curated The Allure Beauty Box December 2017.

Allure Beauty Box December 2017 Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

The Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer is an oil free liquid.  Therefore, it doesn’t have the greasy slip of other primers.

It is creamy and white.  Also, it layers easily.

Smooth on a dime-size amount of product.  However, do not worry about the ghostly cast because it will disappear.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer $54, has an airy, light texture that goes on smoothly .  Furthermore, it creates a smooth, even surface for foundation application.

Previously, I have tried this primer. Unfortunately, I have extremely dry skin.  Therefore, I don’t need to manage shine.  In fact, I need some slip to make my foundation look smooth.  In conclusion, this primer is great for oily or combination skin.  However, if your skin is dry, go with something more lubricating.

Allure Beauty Box December 2017 Morphe Pro M433 Firm Blending Fluff Brush

This brush is Jaclyn Hill’s Holy Grail blush for blending.

The Morphe M4333 Blending Brush ($6) is Jaclyn Hill’s favorite multitasker. First, the goat hair bristles are slightly longer in the center.  Therefore, it is the perfect brush for packing on powder.  Also, it blends the powder out, defines the outer crease, and applies color in the transition area between your crease and brow bone.

I am always looking for the perfect brush to apply eye shadow.  I am anxious to try it!

Allure Beauty Box December 2017 Dior Diorshow Mascara

Dior took a classic and made it better.  When you pull the brush out of the tube, you get the perfect amount of mascara goop on the bristles.  Also, tiny fibers were added to the formula.

I like this mascara because the fibers add volume to my lashes.

Allure Beauty Box December 2017 Oribe Matte Waves Texture Lotion

The Oribe Matte Waves Texture Lotion can be scrunched into damp hair.  Next, twist your hair and let it air dry.

 

I love Oribe Hair products.  Especially, I am a huge fan of the Oribe Dry Texture Spray.  Moreover, I love their shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair.  Right now it is freezing here on the East Coast.  Beach Waves is the furthest thing from my mind.  However, Oribe makes excellent products.  The part I love most about Oribe is the scent of their products.

Allure Beauty Box December 2017 Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser

I have used Purity Made Simple.  The white liquid formula foams up and washes off makeup.  Also, it unclogs pores.  It even washes off waterproof mascara.  It is a nice cleanser. It is easy to use.  You can cleanse your face in one step.

Allure Beauty Box December 2017 Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop

Champagne Pop is a soft gold with peach tones.  Therefore, it will look good on every skin tone.

Pearl pigments give skin a sheen.

I was part of the frenzy to get Champagne Pop.  It is a gorgeous shade.  I still wear it all the time!
