It smells like ice cream and it’s inside ammunition that looks like a bullet! And, you’ve gotta love it because it’s sooooooo Jeffree, as in Jeffree Star, musician, social media star, and now cosmetics entrepreneur. Again, Jeffree Star is expanding his cosmetic line. This time it’s a……real lipstick!
Lip Ammunition’s packaging is brilliant! Jeffree took the “ammunition” in Lip Ammunition literally and created a chrome bullet to house his lipstick. Furthermore, the bullet represents the feeling of power that applying lipstick has for us, pure empowerment! It’s ironic that the lipstick tube has always been referred to as a bullet. Jeffree puts it in perspective, literally. The bottom of the powerful chrome bullet is a feminine pink!!!! So clever!
Lip Ammunition is sold on Jeffree Star’s website, and on Beautylish ($18). I signed up with Beautylish to be alerted when Lip Ammunition was available. It launched on September 30. However, we were restricted to purchasing only two lipsticks. The two I chose were Baby Spice, and Unicorn Blood. There are ten shades of Lip Ammunition currently. Nine of the shades come in a satin finish. One shade comes in a glitter finish. And six of the shades are various shades of Jeffree’s favorite color, pink!

And the range extends to the glitter pink shade. The glitter shade is called Beauty Pageant. It’s pure glitz and glamour. It is a sheer color of pink, and it is packed with shimmer. Add it over liquid lipsticks or pop it in the center of your lips, or for a sheer sheen of pink glitter!Baby Spice
The first shade I chose was Baby Spice. Jeffree named this because of his love, as a child, of the Spice Girls. This is a new color for Jeffree. A lot of the colors are repeats of his famous matte velvet liquid lipsticks.

Like all of Jeffree’s products, I love these lipsticks. They are soooo different from his famous matte velvet liquids. All the colors are infused with the slightest scent of ice cream – actually they smell like a Creamsicle! They have a creamy satin texture that feels creamy on the lips. They deliver a high impact finish with one swipe coverage. I also like how the tip of the lipstick is laser cut, which creates a point that makes it easy to define the lips while applying your lipstick. I love that Jeffree Star is not afraid of color. His vibrant shades are packed with punch and his formula is packed with moisturizing ingredients that make this lipstick creamy and hydrating. They are not kiss proof! But, they are fun. You can feel the fantasy!
