The new for Spring 2023 Pat McGrath Love Collection is in time for Valentines Day! There are lots of brand new goodies in the new collection for eyes, lips and cheeks! The collection includes a trio of six pan Mothership Eyeshadow Palettes: Velvet Liaison, Sublime Seduction, and Iconic Infatuation. Also, there are two new Divine Blushes: Desert Orchid and Fleurtatious, am\nd two new Liquid Lust Matte Lipsticks: Nude Cabaret and Nude Venus. Finally, there are seven brand new Fetish Eyes Longwear Liquid Eyeshadow. These liquid eyeshadows is a first for Pat McGrath! I did recently review the new Lisa Eldridge Eyeshadows, that were absolutely gorgeous. Now, I can’t wait to show you the Newest addition to Pat McGrath Labs, the Liquid Eyeshadows , the complete Love Collection set of seven shades
The liquid eyeshadows come packaged in Pat McGrath style, the outer carton is elaborately decorated, with tones of red, gold and pink. Pat’s famous hieroglyphics in gold are stamped on one side of the box. The boxes are so beautiful, you can gift this without having to wrap it. And, you will never want to throw it out! So consider it keepable, keep your eyeshadow in the box. You won’t have to recycle it. \
Inside, the eyeshadow tube is plastic, , with a black lid that doubles as the handle of a doe-foot applicator. the bottom is more practical, a see-through to the shade bottle. The Although, at the top of the see-through is a black rim with a Pat McGrath hieroglyphic gold eye. The outer cap has a snap to tightly insure you have tightly closed the bottle, so the liquid won’t dry out. The applicator is in an hourglass shape, which allows you to apply it to the eyelid, crease, and lower lashline.
There are a lot of liquid eyeshadows available. So, why would you want to purchase another one?two, or three? First, it is Pat McGrath’s newest launch, her first liquid eyeshadow. And, the mother of makeup is a pro when it comes to her formulas, and shades. Her new liquid eyeshadow is a multidimensional liquid, with incandescent intensity, and the shades are shimmering. The 7 shades are stunning, and they are very long-lasting (approximately 10 hour weartime!). The formula is lightweight and high impact!
The formula delivers, it ultra-creamy, ultra-blendable, crease-proof, and smudge resistant. You can dial it up for a blown-out effect. Or, you can dial the intensity down for a veil-like effect, and a simple great shine.
The Shades
Divine Champagne
Divine Champagne, a golden champagne shade with pearl scattered sparkles has a luminous shimmering finish. This shade is a no brainer, because it has multi-used, as an all over color on the eyelids, as a highlighter in the corners of the eyes, in the center of the eyelid over another shade, to make your eyes pop, and. wear it to line your eyes.
Divine Champagne
Swatched
I love that Divine Champagne creates a beautiful reflective effect.
Luna Rose
Luna Rose, a rose gold base with sparkling platinum, has a luminous, shimmering finish. Luna Rose can also be worn all over the eyelids, in the crease, in the inner corners of the eyes as a highlighter, or create a look using Luna Rose on the first third of the eyelid, and a darker shade on the rest of the eyelid, You can use a darker shade in the crease of any of these looks, and it could be from one of your pressed powder palettes. Also, you can dab in over another shade , in the center of your eyes, to make your eyes pop, and create an even more multidimensional look.
Bronze Bijoux
Bronze Bijoux, a warm bronze shade with sparkling gold , has a luminous, shimmering finish. The shade looks like a gold leaning more towards bronze shade. Wear it on your eyelid. Use a matte shade in your crease, and line your lower lash line with the Bronze Bijoux.
Platinum Bronze
Platinum Bronze, a cool bronze shade with sparkling platinum, has a luminous shimmering finish. This shade appears to me to be a bronzy taupe shade. I think of it as a lid, lash, liner shade, because it looks good even in the crease, on the eyelids, and as an eyeliner!
Smouldering Seduction
Smouldering Seduction, a sienna bronze shade, more reddish brown bronze, has a copper sparkle, and a luminous, shimmering finish. This is a warmer shade, and would look great in your crease, outer part of your eyelids (outer corners) lower lash line. Use other shades on the eyelid, and use a pop shade like Divine Champagne or Luna Rose in the center of the eyelid, and the inner corners.
Twilight Platinum
Twilight Platinum, a pewter shade with sparkling platinum, has a luminous, shimmering finish. This shade is a cooler shade, with a silvery tone to it. If you want to create a party eye, this is the shade to do it. Remember disco? This is it! Disco ball silver!
Cosmic Chartreuse
Cosmic Chartreuse, a khaki green with sparkling green, has a luminous, shimmering finish. Actually, this shade is more springtime and less cosmic! It is wearable on the eyelids, and use another soft shade to add to your look. It is a pretty shimmering green, not too too much at all-nothing crazy!
The shades can be worn alone, or you can layer it with another shadow. Also, you can apply the color directly to your eyes, using the applicator. Then, to blend, use either your finger or a blending brush to create the look and intensity you want. For a more intense look, smooth and blend additional color in layers. The applicator is your friend, use it! The tip of the applicator is the perfect tool to line your upper and lower lash lines.
The rest of the Love Collection, including the blush, three eyeshadow palettes, and matte liquid lips , is coming, Because the liquid shadows are brand new for Pat McGrath, I wanted to focus on them first!
