Cle De Peau New Luminizing Face Enhancer

The difference between the popular, and original Luminizing Face Enhancer, that has been around for about 8 years, and the New Cle De Peau Luminizing Face Enhancer, that was released this July 2022, is an ingredient that has taken ten years  for Cle de Peau in partnership with the company Kyocera Kyoto, to create.  The New Version of the multidimensional highlighting powder is infused with opal powder.  This is not real opal gems that were crushed into powder.  However, the powder, developed using a new technology called Kyocera Kyoto Opal Technology, created a powder called Kyoto Opal Powder.  This invention, which took 10 years to create,  gives you the same lustrous shine that you would have if you were wearing actual opal gemstones on your face!   The New Luminizing Face Enhancer not only illuminates your complexion, it also defines your contours with light empowering technology,  giving you a radiant look that catches the eyes at every angle.

You can find the New Cle De Peau Luminizing Face Enhancer at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and on the Cle De Peau Website.  The New Luminizing Face Enhancer (.35 oz./10g) costs $95.

The outer box ,The Luminizing Face Enhancer comes in, is made with FSC Mix, meaning the box is made using a mixture of materials made with FSC Certified Forests, recycled materials, or FSC controlled wood.  The outer box is recyclable. The Luminizing Face Enhancer comes in a gold, three dimensional lid – reminds me of cut gemstones, case.  The Cle de Peau logo is etched in the center of the lid.  To open the case, simply pull up on the lid.  To close, the case has a magnetic closure, so push on the lid until the magnet grabs it and pulls it down and closed.  Inside is a nice-sized mirror underneath the lid.  Also the compact comes with a hand-crafted brush that was specifically created to help create the look of light.  Also, there is a a rectangular pan that holds the highlighter, which has a three dimensional gemstone design. Even more, a thick plastic cover comes inside the compact, and fits over the powder, so that the powder is protected, and. contained, and there is no fallout.  Finally, the case is refillable.

The formula includes the Precious Opal Powder, that absorbs and reflects light, converting it on the skin, for 360 degrees of iridescent radiance.  It releases an iridescent sheen that changes the amount of light and the angle of light. The powder is extremely fine, applies evenly, and leaves your face with the perfect glow. It leaves you with a lustrous shine as if you were wearing opal gemstones on your face.

Light Empowering Enhancer delivers a natural radiant finish by creating optimal light diffusion and reflection in the skin to amplify your radiant makeup look.

Premium Argan Oil is included in the formula because it is rich in Vitamin E, provides moisture for smoother, silkier skin.  Also included, Moist Feel Powder Smooth Texture Oil Gel helps the product apply smoothly with a silky texture.  The powder applies evenly, leaving your face with the perfect glow.  It illuminates your skin with prismatic radiance.  It leaves your face with a dewy glow, as you would get with a cream, you can now get with the ease of a powder.  The product becomes one with your skin, and won’t sit on top of your skin.

Finally, the face luminizer doesn’t fade or crease and lasts for up to 12 hours.

The Shades

I purchased 22 Shooting Stars, 201 Twilight’s Glow and 203 Sunset’s Brilliance.

22 Shooting Stars

201 Twilight’s Glow

203 Sunset’s Brilliance

There are three more shades to choose from: 17 Celestial Sparks, 21 Daybreak Shimmer, and 202 Golden Galaxy

Finally, I first purchased 22 Shooting Stars, and loved it so much, I then purchased 201 and 203. I applied Shooting Stars as a highlighter, on my cheekbones, down the center of my nose, and on my brow bones.  Also, I used Shooting Stars all over my face, because it is warm-toned, which I really liked because it gave my face luminosity, and the shade was not chalky.  Twilight’s Glow is a cool -toned highlighter, which I  use as a highlighter.  Probably when I lose my summer tan, the cool tones will work as an all-over luminizer.  Finally, Sunset’s Brilliance is more in the middle of Shooting Stars and Twilight’s Glow.  It is more the color of my skin, which makes it perfect for this time of year.  In the fall, I might use this one as a contour shade.  These powders are so beautiful, I wish I could have them all!
