Gone are the days of YSL more is more makeup. The Nu collection is YSL’s line of skincare/makeup hybrids. The Nu philosophy is to enhance your freckles, dark circles, or anything else you once covered up. Accordingly, the Nu line lets your flaws shine through! That’s nice for a change! You can find the Yves Saint Laurent Nu Lip & Cheek Balmy Tint at Sephora, Selfridges, and on the Yves Saint Laurent Website. The Nu Lip & Cheek Balmy Tint (0.5 oz./15 mL) costs $38. It comes in three shades.
The outer box is recyclable, and made with sustainable materials. The materials are labeled FSC Mix, which means the materials contain a mixture of Forest Stewardship Council virgin fiber and/or recycled material. 
The recycling label denotes the amount of pre and post-consumer recycled fiber used. 
The lip and cheek balmy tint comes in a tube with minimal bells and whistles. 
No glitter or fancy flourishes here. Instead the tube is white, the writing is in black. Also, the top of the tube is see-through, so you can see the color of the product inside. The tube , 28%, is made from recycled plastic. The black lid is also plastic.
The cream formula includes some star skin-loving ingredients, including Hyaluronic Acid which has hydrating and glowing properties. 
Orange Blossom, which has visibly calming and hydrating properties, and Shea Butter, that has emollient, moisturizing, and nourishing properties. Also, the formula is enriched with light color pigments for a natural makeup look.The balmy tint easily glides on, blends easily , and it melted on my lips and cheeks. The balmy tint felt moisturizing, hydrating , pillow-like, and so soft and comfortable.
Finally, the Lip & Cheek Balmy Tint comes in three shades. I purchased the shade Nu Flush. The other shades are Nu Chills and Nu Pinch. Nu Chills, a soft plum shade, has a natural finish. Nu Pinch, a peach nude shade, has a natural finish.
I love Nu Flush, a cherry red shade, that has a natural finish. The color looks more like a soft stain on my lips, it definitely has a lot less pigment that a lipstick. One swipe, using a pea sized dot, on my lips is all I used. If you want more pigment, then you can layer it with another swipe.
The Nu flush shade looks exactly like it’s name, a beautiful , subtle, cherry red flush with a natural finish. It is so beautiful, it looks like my cheeks had a nice glow. A half a pea sized dot would give you more of a no makeup makeup look.
I chose the whole pea, since I love some color.
