Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlight (including the newest shade)

We love makeup artist to the stars, Gucci Westman, and her makeup line is not only clean makeup, it is good for your skin, and makes you look like yourself but better.  And, Gucci is into giving her clients a gorgeous, radiant glow.  Now, you can have the Gucci Westman Glow with her Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlight.  Super Loaded is a highlighting cream that can be used on cheeks, and eyes!  It gives you a beautiful boost of color that glows.  In fact, Gucci calls it “the closer” since it gives your skin the most refined polish!

You can find the Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlight at Sephora, Violet Grey, Shen Beauty, Credo, Nordstrom, and on the Westman Atelier Website.  You can only find the new shade, so far, on the Westman Atelier Website. The Super Loaded Tinted Highlight(.14 oz. / 4g) costs $75.

The Tinted Highlight outer packaging is the classic Gucci Westman lightest peach outer box with gold writing, and gold framing.  The box is recyclable.  Inside the box, is the covered compact, covered in the light pink linen pouch, with drawstring, and Westman Atelier printed on front in gold.  The new shade, Peau de Sante, comes in a peachy gold , weighty compact.  To open, pull up on the top of the compact.  The compact has a magnetic closure.  Therefore, to close the compact, simply push down on the lid until you feel it grab onto the magnet, and make a snap sound. Inside the compact, underneath the lid is a round mirror, framed in the gold compact.  Also, the mirror has Gucci Westman’s signature hear drawn on the bottom left.  On the other side is the tinted highlight pan, also round, and also framed with the gold compact. Peau de Rose comes in a black pouch with drawstring, and gold writing in the center of the front of the pouch. Also the compact is matte black metal, with a slim yellow- gold ring separating the top and bottom.  Inside, the compact is a yellow gold shade , with a circular mirror, and a heart on the bottom right side, and opposite the mirror is the Peu de Rose cream highlight pan, surrounded in yellow gold.

Westman Atelier products are “consciously crafted,”which means that Gucci can not claim to be vegan, as she uses beeswax in all of the Super Loaded Tinted Highlight shades, and one of the shades, has carmine in the ingredients.  Although, Gucci is conscious about what ingredients she uses in her products, and only uses synthetic or other ingredients if it ensures that the product is better.  Her makeup is Clean, as she doesn’t use silicones, parabens, talc, phthalates, nor are her products tested with animals involved.  And, that is good enough for me.    What ingredients Gucci does use in the tinted highlight are skincare ingredients with treatment benefits.

The callout ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid, which we all know by now, boosts moisture.  Also, Jojoba Seed Oil is included to improve hydration, as well as it strengthens skin’s moisture barrier.  Caper extract helps soothe, calm and reduce redness on the skin.  The first ingredient listed is the one ingredient on any makeup/skincare ingredient list that is the one that is included more than the other ingredients in a product.  For example, a lot of skincare lists water as their first ingredient.  Therefore you can be sure the formula has a lot of water in it.  Just sayin.  The ingredient in the Tinted Highlight is Caprylic Triglyceride, which is derived from coconut oil and glycerin.  The ingredient works for any skin type, and is considered a HERO hydrator.  You will find this ingredient in a plethora of products.  What it does is promote smooth and glowing skin, while replenishing the skin barrier.

The two shades I purchased are Peau de Rose, one of the original three, and the newest shade, Peau de Sante.

Peau de Rose

Peau de Rose is a pink shade with a cooler undertone, that has a radiant glowing finish.

I chose this cool pink shade because  it looks different on fair skin, and changes on deeper skin tones.  On fair skin, Rose acts as a soft rose highlight.  On deeper skin tones, medium, tan, deep and deeper, Rose acts as a luminescent pink accent-gorgeous!  Wear this shade on your cheekbones, on the inner corners of your eyes, and your Cupid’s bow.

Peau de Sante

Peau de Sante, the newest shade in the collection, is a rosy peachy flush, that has a perfect balance of warm and cool.

This new shade works on everybody!  Gucci uses this shade under or over foundation, across the apples of cheeks, or swiped onto the eyelids.  It creates a glow that is effortless.

The other two shades are Peau de Soleil, a warm bronze – gold, and Peau de Peche, soft pearlized bronze suede.

Finally, the Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlight was a best of Allure winner in 2021!  This is the best time of year to try this best of Allure 2021 product, because it is officially summer, and don’t we all want to glow in the summer?
