The Palette comes packaged in the signature PM metallic and plastic packaging. However, the difference is the signature sequins found in this type of packaging, are missing. This is a good thing, since sequins are plastic, and plastics never go away! Too much plastic harms our planet. As fun and beautiful, and chic as it looks, it is not good for our environment. Also, the plastic, lavender compact has gold writing and a gold design. Inside, there is a mirror underneath the lid, and on the opposite side, are the six shades, in rectangular pans, in two rows of three shades each.
