Suqqu Pure Color Blush is not new, yet , it is still a popular Suqqu Blush. What makes it special is it is a blush/highlighter duo . In one pan, the gradation of the pure color blush shade dwindles , ultimately becoming the highlighter shade. Suqqu Pure Color Blush gives your face a natural, radiant look. In fact, the blush is more about how the blush color catches light and reflects light, than it is about rich pigments, and lots of color. The reason for this is, Japanese makeup is more about subtle color and fresh-looking skin that looks youthful.
You can find the Suqqu Pure Color Blush at ModeSens, Harrods, Selfridges, Amazon and Cult Beauty The Suqqu Pure Color Blush ( 0.26 0z. / 7.5g) costs anywhere from $41.95 to $68.61 on Amazon.
The Pure Color Blush comes packaged in a velvet-like black outer box.

The case that houses the blush/highlighter is a drop larger than a credit card, and it is really slim, and sleek.
The cover is shiny black plastic lid.
The back of the case is mirrored silver. In the front, of the case is a silver button, that you press to open the compact, and lift up on the lid. To close the case, simply push the lid down until you hear it click closed.
Inside, is a large square mirror underneath the lid. On the other side of the case, is the pan with the blush that ombres to a highlighter. Suqqu is embossed into the blush.

SUQQU promotes environmentally friendly initiatives from the perspective of ESG and resource conservation. Shopping bags and gift wrapping are provided according to the customer’s request at stores. Usually, if you are purchasing a Suqqu product for yourself, the sales person will simply hand the product to you, without a bag or box.

The Formula for the Suqqu Pure Color Blush is a pressed powder. However, the powder isn’t chalky, and doesn’t feel like powder. The reason is, the lightweight formula includes a generous helping of emollient oils. These oils create a smooth, texture. Therefore it doesn’t have a powdery finish. Even more, the oils create a formula that glides on smoothly, for easy application. Also, the oils help the powder, easily and seamlessly, blend into your skin. The formula is buildable, and layerable. You’ll need a lot of patience if you want to see more intense color on your cheeks.
You will need to layer, layer again, and again. You won’t get rich pigments with one stroke.

You’ve got to keep layering for more color. The blush is really not about putting a lot of blush color on your cheeks. Instead, the Pure Color Blush is about light – so it is more about how the blush captures light, and reflects light. The formula includes finely-milled translucent pigments that enrich the powder with extra glow.

The highlighter, gives you a pale light, and the Pure Color Gradient Blush softly blushes with a gradation, that is flawless, giving you a natural, radiance, a gorgeous glow. The formula doesn’t include glitter, nor does it have a fragrance.

You can blend both shades together, or use them separately.

The brand suggests you start in the middle of your cheek and take the blush up to the top of your ear.
The shade I chose is 10 Usumoya, a warm rose shade, that graduates to a versatile sand highlighter shade, that gives you subtle color, and more importantly, fresh looking skin that appears youthful.

It is more of a no makeup-makeup look, that gives you that lit from within effect that we all want right now. Finally. Suqqu is a beautiful brand! The only problem I have is it is not sold in the US. So, if you want it, You need to go to the British Stores, Selfridges, Harrods, and Liberty, and have the products sent to you if you are here in the US, or any other country that doesn’t sell this brand.
