Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection 2022

The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collections are summer palettes, released every year, that include a Bronzer and an Eyeshadow Palette.  This year, Estee Lauder released the Bronze  Goddess Healthy Glow Bronzer, in two shades, Sunrise and Sunset. Also in the collection is the Bronze Goddess Nuit Summer Look Palette, and it appears to come in two shades, Azur and Nuit.  I purchased the Healthy Glow Bronzer in Sunset.  Sunrise is a warm, softer toned palette,  Sunset, more my speed, is deep heat!  Additionally, I purchased the deeper Nuit Palette, which has gold shades, deep blues, burgundy, nudes and a deep pink shade. The other palette, Azur, is an older palette, that has more turquoise shades, azur blue shades and nudes. Also, Estee Lauder released the new Bronze Goddess Nuit perfume, with the 2022 Collection.  The fragrance , a luminous amber floral fragrance, evokes the heat of the night, with sensual notes of Bergamot Essence, Jasmine Sambac, Salted Coconut and more. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds enticing!

You can find the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection 2022 at Bloomingdales, Macys, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and on the Estee Lauder Website.

The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Healthy Glow Bronze in Sunrise or Sunset ( .49 oz. /  13 g) costs $45.  And the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Nuit Summer Look Palette ( .45 oz. / 13g) costs $60.

The Nuit Summer Look Palette comes packaged in a metallic, deep marine box, with embellished tortoise shell on the top, bottom and sides.  The writing on the box is in metallic gold. Inside, the box is lined with Azur Cardboard. This is what Estee Lauder says about sustainability and being eco-conscious “Our company aims to minimize environmental impacts by setting targets to reduce direct and indirect emissions, creating more sustainable building practices, sending zero waste to landfill at our facilities and improving water efficiency.” The Front of the Outer Box for the Bronze Goddess Healthy Glow Bronzer is a metallic tortoise shell that has a metallic sunset shade when it hits the light. The rest of the box is metallic rose-gold.  White writing is on the back, and gold metallic writing is on the front.

Both Compacts are circular.  The Bronze Goddess Bronzer compact, with a tortoise shell lid, that has a sunset bronze glow when it hits the light. The rest of the case is rose gold metallic. Lift the lid up to open the compact.  To close, push down on the lid until you hear a click.  Inside the compact, underneath the lid, is a large circular mirror. On the other side from the mirror, is the  bronzer, highlighter and blush. The bright satin pink diamond in the center is the blush.  Surrounding the diamond, in sections, are swirls. Every other swirl is a   lighter satin bronze shade, which is the highlighter.  Then, the other, deeper swirls, are the matte bronzer shades.  This is the smaller of the two compacts.

You can wear each of the shades by themselves, blush on the apples of your cheeks, the highlighter on the high planes of your face, and the bronzer wherever the sun hits your face,  across your forehead, under your cheekbones, and across your nose,

Then, the Nuit Summer Look Palette is the jumbo eyeshadow palette Estee Lauder puts out yearly for their Bronze Goddess Collection.  The design on the jumbo gold compact is embossed circles, that look like they were carved into the compact.  There are three brown circles that carve out sections, the outer , the middle, and the inner circle. The circle in the center is the same tortoise shell, on the surrounding sections of the outer box, that when light hits it, you can see the Sunset glimmer. There Is a round bezel of gold, with a marine blue  center, that can be lifted up, in order to lift up the compact’s lid. To close the compact, push down on the lid, and the strong magnet will grab the lid and close it .Inside, underneath the lid is a huge circular mirror.  On the other side of the mirror are eight eyeshadows, in an eight ray sun burst, that surrounds the palette. The center of the sun burst has the ninth shade in inside the eight-sided octagon, that is in the center of the palette. The eight rays of the sun come from each side of the octagon.  In between the gold rays are the eyeshadows.

The finishes of the 9 silky shadows are matte or satin.  The shades are: (starting under the mirror to the left.). Go Clockwise from there:

The Center Shade

I realize these Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Palettes are pretty similar from year to year. I haven’t purchased one in a while, and I was drawn to the Sunset Bronzer Palette shades,

I like that it is three products in one palette, yet you can swirl your brush into all three shades , and apply the three for a healthy looking glow.  Or you can wear each shade on its own, as a blush on the apples of your cheeks, as a highlighter, and as a bronzer. The eyeshadow palette is different from most of the palettes that have come out for spring/summer.

I love the deep burgundy shade, and the dark blue shade.  The Nuit Palette is clearly more dramatic than the Azur palette.  That is why it is called Nuit (Night) !Also, I like the gold, copper and pink satin shades. There are a lot of looks in this palette. So, for me the Nuit Palette is a win, win.
