According to my Sephora girls, the new Hourglass Equilibrium Skincare Line’s standout product is the Equilibrium Intense Hydrating Eye Balm. At first I was pretty skeptical, but my Sephora girls see products come and go, and have never steered me in the wrong direction. One reason I knew I’d get some results from the balm was the fact that the Hourglass’ Equilibrium line is powered by the brand’s Cell Balancing Complex™ — “a powerful combination of youth lipids (phospholipids and pro-lipids) that rebalances, restores, and renews the skin barrier.” This balm does exactly what the brand claims. The skin right around our eyes is incredibly sensitive and needs special attention in order to remain fresh and fabulous. This eye cream provides your under-eye area with a burst of instant hydration.
This is the time of year where we are in the cold air outside, and we come in to dry heat. The one organ that really suffers from these circumstances is our skin, Therefore, the skin around the eyes is more prone to dryness, and needs a thicker, richer product to keep it looking supple and fresh. The Eye Balm comes in a white outer box with grey writing. 
Also, I looked all over this box to find some hint that the box was either made from recycled something, or that we should recycle the box. Evn the makeup industry needs to help save the planet, even if they are using clean, vegan , cruelty free ingredients. Then, the eye balm comes in a white plastic tub with a screw on screw off lid. Also, the writing on the tub is grey.
The Formula
The formula has a balm-like texture. It almost feels like petroleum jelly. The balm-like texture visibly plumps and moisturizes your eye area. At the same time, the formula protects the delicate skin for a more radiant, youthful look. After three days using the eye balm, the rich emollients help smooth the skin under your eyes. Also, after 3 days, you will notice the reduction of the appearance of dark circles.
The formula includes Cell Balancing Complex, a powerful combination of Phospholipids and Pro-lipids, to visibly rebalance, restore and renew the skin barrier. Also, Hydration Barrier Complex supports the skin barrier and smooths the look of texture. Cocoa Seed Extract reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The Results
