Charlotte Tilbury’s Holiday 2021 Collection is one, if not the most, extensive holiday collections ever. This is the time of year Charlotte launches her four look instant eyes palette. Also, this year, Charlotte created a new instant face in a palette. The last one came out before Mother’s Day this year. Two more favorite eyeshadow palette, the Luxury Palettes of Pearls, are also brand new. One is the Celestial Pearl Palette. The other one, which is more difficult to get, is the Cosmic Pearl Palette. Both of these Luxury Palettes of Pearls will light up your eyes! Each palette includes 4 color-coded, paint by numbers, shimmering shades. What makes these two palettes even more exciting is each one of the Luxury Pearl Palettes includes a shade with Charlotte’s first ever duochrome formula!

Also, Each one of the Luxury Palettes of Pearls ( .16 oz. / 4.6 g) costs $53. Any stores that charge more, such as Bloomingdales ($56) I did not include. Isn’t it interesting that all the stores are not on the same page with regard to the price?!
The Packaging
These Luxury Pearl Palettes come with limited edition holiday packaging. The outer box, and the compact, have a show-stopping, star-print. Also, the case has a mother of pearl base, with gold stars, and an otherwise gold palette. 
The palette is easy to open, just lift up the lid. Then, to close, push the lid down until you hear it click. The shadows themselves are not numbered. 
Therefore, you have to look on the back of the compact, or the outer box, to see the order of the paint by numbers, and which shade is Prime, Enhance, Smoke, and Pop! 
The enhance shade has an embossed star design on the shadow.
The Formula
First, the Prime Formula includes pearlized pigments to create rich color, sparkle and luster. Furthermore, the Prime Shade Formula includes Glossy Ester to build olor, intensity, and brightness. Then, light-reflecting pearls create iridescence ad a multidimensional effect.
Next, the Prime and Pop Formulas include micronized powder to give your eyes multidimensional color with depth. Also both formulas include silicones, that give these shadows a silky,creamy touch.
Then, the Enhance Formula includes shimmering powder for a rich texture that imparts a glow. Also, Enhance, Smoke and Define include emollient esters for easy shading and the soft texture for easy blending.
Finally, the Smoke Shade Formula includes duochrome pigments, which means the formula combines 2 distinct shimmer shades that play with light. Squalane is includes so the formula is easy to blend.
The Cosmic Pearl Palette Shades and Application
1 Prime Shade, a soft peachy pink shade, has a pearlized shimmer finish. Wear Prime in the inner corners of your eyes. Also, wear this shade all over your eyelids.
2 Enhance Shade, a dusky rose shade, has a pearlized glowing finish. Wear Enhance on your eyelids and the outer corners of your eyes for a multidimensional effect.
3 Smoke Shade, a teal blue shade with a brown shift, has a duochrome finish. Wear Smoke on your lash lines. Then, use your finger, and pop the duochrome shade in the center of your eyes.
4 Define Shade, a warm burgundy shade, has a creamy satin finish. Wear Define to line your upper and lower lash lines. Also, wear this shade in your crease.
The Celestial Pearl Palette Shades and Application
1 Pime Shade, a blush pink shade, has a pearlized finish. Wear the Prime shade all over your eyes.
2 Enhance, a pink shade that shifts to gold, has a duochrome finish. This is when a shade combines 2 distinct shades that play with light.Wear this duochrome shaede on your eyelids, and on the outer corners of your eyes. this will give you a multidimensional effect!
3 Smoke, a bronze brown shade, has a glowing satiny finish. Wear this Smoke Shade on your upper and lower lash lines. Also, wear the smoke shade from your outer corners, bring it up to your crease.
4 Pop, a gold shade, has a pearlescent finish. First, wear this over the Smoke Shade on your lash lines.Then, using your finger, pop some of the pop shade onto the center of your eyelids. This trick will make your eyes pop!
Both the Celestial Pearl Palette and the Cosmic Pearl Palette are beautiful for the holidays. Celestial Pearl is more pearlized, and Cosmic Pearl is is all about the glow. I am in love with the Cosmic Pearl Palette duochrome shade. Charlotte nailed it with the duochrome formula. I love the sparkle of the Celestial Palette. The Cosmic Palette shades are deeper, as the cosmos are deep in space. I love these quads for Holiday Dinners, and New Years Eve Party Eyes! Also, they are like gems in a palette, so either one would make a great gift!
