So, all you need to do is blend them on, and you are done! You could use all the shade, or just one or two. Whatever you do, you can’t go wrong! This is your new everyday palette. Although, adding some of the black shade will dress up your eyes. And, to make them extra dressed up, add the celestial shade on the center of your eyelids, to make your eyes pop!!! Also, Wayne has three fabulous eye pencils that go with everything you own! Even more, they are thin, which is perfect for tightlining, and going in between your lashes. In this way, you can define your eyes.
Finally, Wayne has released his Weightless veil Blush Palette, in four colorways. Each palette has a matte blush, and a coordinating highlighter. To explain, Wayne wants us all to experience “how the right blush can elevate our look”. Above all, I think blush is right up there with lipstick! Both items demonstrate how powerful makeup can be. In particular, Blush can brighten your complexion, and add dimension to your face!
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Weightless Veil Blush Palette Packaging
To start,, Wayne’s signature outer packaging is a metallic silver box, with white writing. Inside, the compact is a glossy black lacquer, with a sheen to it. However, be ready to wipe off your fingerprints. First, the compact has a nice size mirror on one side. On the other side are two pans. One pan holds the matte blush. The other pan, next to the blush, has the highlighter. Wayne’s packaging is sleek, and modern. And, it is the perfect size for travel. Also, you can throw the compact into your handbag for touch ups!
The Formula For The Weightless Veil Blush Palette
First, the powders are micro-fine pigments that blend beautifully. And, the formula is so smooth, the powders glide on your face. The formula creates a light veal on your skin. Also, if you want more intensity, you can layer, and build the pigments to create a more dramatic flush.
Even more, you can wear the matte blush on its own. Then, you can highlight the high points of your face! But, Wayne takes this one step further. You can layer the matte blush with the highlighter in two ways. One, you can wear the matte blush underneath, and layer the highlighter over it. In this way, you are using the highlighter as you would a shimmering eyeshadow topper. In this way, the highlighter is the topper over the blush. As a result, you will get a luminous, soft focus effect. Two, you can wear the matte blush over the highlighter. In this way, you will create an ethereal look.
The Weightless Veil Blush Palette Shades
To start, The Weightless Veil Blush Palette comes in four gorgeous shades. At first, I was only going to get two of them. However, after seeing, and hearing Wayne talk about each shade, I ended up having to have all four! From the lightest to the most intense, are Coral Rose, Blush Peony, Bright Poppy, and Vivid Azalea.
CORAL ROSE PALETTE
First, Coral Rose, a soft peachy pink shade, has a matte finish. Next,, the Coral Rose coordinating highlighter, a beige champagne shade, has a glistening finish. At first, I felt this shade would be way too soft, and too light for me.
L TO R: CORAL ROSE BLUSHING; ROSY HIGHLIGHTER; HIGHLIGHTER ROSY ON THE BOTTOM, BLUSHING LAYERED ON TOP
Yet, Wayne explained how we can all have that delicate, soft-flushed skin. I am glad I went for it! It happens to be a very pretty shade.
BLUSH PEONY
Next, Blush Peony, a medium pink shade, has a matte finish. And, the coordinating highlighter is a cool pink shade, with an iridescent finish.
SWATCHES L TO R: BLUSH PEONY SWEETENED BLUSH, HIGHLIGHTER SHIMMER PINK, SWEETENED BLUSH ON BOTTOM LAYERED WITH SHIMMER PINK HIGHLIGHTER ON TOP
According to Wayne, this pretty pink shade looks good on every skintone.
BRIGHT POPPY
Then, Bright Poppy, a bright poppy pink shade, has a matte finish. And, the coordinating highlighter, a Golden Copper shade, has a shimmering finish. I love this combination.
SWATCHES T TO B: BRIGHT POPPY GOLDEN GLOW HIGHLIGHTER; BRIGHT POPPY SUNNY BLUSH; GOLDEN GLOW HIGHLIGHTER. ON BOTTOM, SUNNY GLOW BLUSH ON TOP
According to Wayne, the Bright Poppy creates the look of skin that has been warmed by the sun. This one is just up my alley.
VIVID AZALEA
Finally, Vivid Azalea, a vibrant fuchsia shade, has a matte finish. Also, the coordinating highlighter shade, a white gold shade, has a shimmering finish. Even more, this one is my other favorite! I love fuchsia, and the intensity of this shade. Although, Wayne designed this to be universally flattering.
T TO B: SWATCHES VIVID AZALEA PEARL HIGHLIGHTER, SHOCKING BLUSH, PEARL HIGHLIGHTER ON THE BOTTOM, LAYERED ON TOP IS SHOCKING BLUSH
Therefore, you can go soft, or intense with this one. Also, Me? I am going to go intense! Last, You will be surprised how versatile this shade can be. Try it, you won’t be sorry.
