Therefore they use recycled aluminum, glass components, and responsibly sourced paper. They do not want anything of theirs to end up in a landfill.
Even more, the foundation/ serum comes in a frosted glass bottle. In addition, the bottle has a pump dispenser. I appreciate pump dispensers for two reasons. First, the pump is mess-free! And, second, the pump measure the exact amount of the product you need. So, if you want more coverage, all you need to do is use another pump.
The Formula For The Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation
First of all, the Serum Foundation is not a full-coverage foundation. Instead, it gives you a light to medium coverage. Hence, the formula is buildable. It does melt into your skin. Also, it is easily applied, as it glides on your face.
Next, the formula is a hybrid, consisting of equal parts skincare and color correction. On one had, the formula soothes irritation, soothes your skin, and tones your skin. On the other hand, it minimizes the look of pores, and blurs imperfections.

To start, the formula includes Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera soothes and nurtures the skin. In addition, it binds moisture to your skin.

How To Apply The Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation
To apply the Serum Foundation, first you can wear a primer, or moisturizer, or both. Right now I am loving Victoria Beckham’s Victoria Beckham Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer. Next, put one or two pumps of foundation on your hand.
Then, either with your fingers, or a foundation brush, start in the center of your face and work outwards. It may feel a bit tacky. If it does feel tacky, press the palms of your hands to your face. In this way, you’ll melt the product into your skin. Also, you’ll smooth your skin. Once it melts into your skin, it will feel weightless.
My Final Thoughts On The Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation
This is the perfect summer foundation. It’s lightweight. Also, it is hydrating, And, it gives your skin radiance. It’s not a full-coverage foundation.
Although, you don’t need full-coverage in the summer. Instead, you want your skin to look like skin, only better! Right?
Even more, it’s nice to have high-end skincare ingredients in my foundation. Also, I love that this brand is all about Clean ingredients. Finally, the formula is amazing if your skin is dry, or you have combination skin. However, if your skin is oily, this may not work for you.
