I’m in love with this years Tom Ford’s Soleil Neige collection. For one thing, the collection is all about winter. Therefore, when I look at his three new eyeshadow quads, the first thing that comes to mind is winter. One of the palettes, the Soleil Et Lune, stood out from the other two quads. The reason is, one shade in this palette was calling my name. Even more, the shade, a mint green, has an icy finish. However, a sell out since the Soleil Et Lune Quad came out, finally It came back in stock. So, I have it! And, I think it was worth the wait.

You can find the Tom Ford Soleil Et Lune Quad at Sephora, Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Beautylish, Neiman Marcus, and on the Tom Ford Website. The palette costs $88.
Tom Ford’s Soleil Et Lune Quad Packaging

To begin with, Tom Ford packages his Soleil Neige Collection in gold textured boxes. Also, his palettes are as white as snow.

Furthermore, the palette has a magnetic closure. And, it comes with two small custom-designed applicators. These are good for on the go touch ups.

Even more, the palette includes a mirror, and four pans of eyeshadow. Finally, the total net weight of the palette is .21 oz./6g.
The Soleil Et Lune Palette’s Formula

First, the shadows are in TF’s wet and dry formula. In other words, you can use the shadows dry. Also, for more intensity, and a foiled look, you can wet the shadows. Furthermore, the shadows are created using advanced color processes. Also, the highly pigmented shadows apply easily. Also, you can build the shadow for a more intense color. Even more, the shadows are super easy to blend. Finally, these firmly pressed shadows apply smoothly, with no fallout. All of the shades in this palette have a fine metallic shimmering finish.
The Soleil Et Lune Shades

Top Left Cream

First, on the top left, a cream shade, has a fine metallic, shimmering finish. I love cream shadow as an all over the eye base shade. Also, it looks beautiful under your eyebrow arch, as a highlighter. Even more, I’d love to see it on the inner corners of your eyes. Finally, I tried it all over my eyelids, and it looked amazing. It has the goldilocks amount of shimmer, that is just right to be able to wear it this way.
Top Right Beige

Next, on the top right, a beige shade, has a fine metallic, shimmering finish. First, you can wear this shade all over your eyelids. Next, wear it in the crease. However, if you want more impact from this shade, wet it! Then, use it in your crease, and to line under your eyes. Also, you can wear this beige shimmer under your arch, to highlight yur brow bones. Even more, it is light enough to put it in the inner corners of your eyes.
Bottom Left Grey
Then, on the second row, on the left, a grey shade, has a fine metallic shimmering finish. To begin with, this grey shade packs more punch than the two shades above. I love this shade in your crease. Also, use it on the outer corners of your eyes. Also, wet it, and wear it all over your eyelids. Finally, wet it, and line your lower lash lines with it. Even more, use it in the outer V of your eyes.
Bottom Right Icy Mint Green

Finally, on the second row, on the right, a mint green shade with slightly dark undertones, has a fine metallic, shimmering finish. First, since this is the reason I purchased the palette in the first place, I would wear this icy minty green shade all over my eyelids. Or, you can enhance the other shade, and use it to bring attention to the outer corners of your eyes. Also, wear it in your crease. And, use it to line your lower lash lines. Moreover, this icy mint green looks amazing used wet!
Tom Ford Soleil Neige Collection 02 Soleil Et Lune Final Thoughts……….

First of all, I love the palette. Although, it is sheer. Also, the colors will fade. However, when they do, I love that the shades fade to a barely there color, with a glowing sheen on your eyelids. In addition, this is a cool palette. Aren’t you tired of all the warm red/brown shades? Out of all of the Soleil Neige Palettes, the Soleil Et Lune is definitely the most different! That is why I love it so much!

When I look at it, it reminds me of winter. For one thing, I can feel the coldness of winter that resonates from this palette. Moreover, I think of the feeling you get after a snow blizzard. You know the feeling, when the sunshine hits the cold , white snow.
PS

Do you have any of the palettes from this year’s collection? Which ones do you have? Were you one of the lucky ones to get this palette over the holidays! Well, I still feel lucky. For one thing, it is even more wintery now, than it was during the holidays. I love when you write me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think about things. Also, I just love hearing from you. What you have to say is important to me. So, please stop being so shy. Stop by to say hi! And, thanks for stopping by!
