Yesterday, I reviewed Chanel’s Ombre Premiere Laque. Furthermore, Ombre Premier Laque ,a long-wearing liquid eyeshadow, comes in five shades. Even more, the inspiration for the colors of Chanel Makeup Spring/Summer 2020, came from photographs, that held on to the memories of desert trip. Moreover, the memories were those of Lucia Pica, the Global /Ambassador for Chanel Makeup and Color. Above all, Lucia Pica used polaroid filters to take the photographs. The Chanel Makeup Spring/Summer 2020 Part 2 includes more products from this collection. I decided there were too many products in the Spring/Summer 2020 Collection, to give them justice in one review. As a result, I decided to write the review in Three Parts. Hence, the products in Part 2 , today’s review are: Les 4 Ombres in 354, Warm Memories; Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme in 132 Endless, and Stylo Ombre Et Contour Eyeshadow -Liner-Khol in 34 Contour Brun, and 36 Contour Mauve.

You can find the Entire Chanel Makeup Spring?Summer 2020 collection on the Chanel Beauty Website. Les 4 Ombres in 354 Warm Memories costs $62, Rouge Velvet Allure Extreme in 132 Endless, costs $38. Furthermore, Stylo Ombre et Contour Eyeshadow-Liner-Khol in 34 Contour Brun, and 36 Contour Mauve cost $34 each.
The Chanel Makeup Spring/Summer 2020 Part 2 Desert Vibes Through Filtered Polaroids

To begin with, it’s been a while since I wrote anything about Chanel Makeup. First, when Global Creative Makeup and Color Designer, Lucia Pica, came to Chanel, I was so excited. For one thing, Global Creative Designer, Lucia Pica, took a car trip around California. And, this is where the colors for her 2017 collection came from. Since those early days, I haven’t seen anything as exciting as the 2017 collection. Until….Now!

For the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, Lucia Pica took a trip to the desert. However, her inspiration didn’t come from what she remembered about that trip. Instead, she took polaroids. However, these were no ordinary polaroid pictures. For one thing, she used a filter, to blur her pictures. In this way, she was creating blurry memories. The reason is, when we look back, all our memories are blurry. So, she was able to capture this in her photos.
As a result, the photos are memories, yes. However, they are blurry. Almost, like the photos were dream-like. In fact, the natural filter, does indeed, make everything look dreamier. Therefore, the soft hues inspiration was the serenity of the desert. The colors are super soft. Also, they are feminine shades. Even more, muted by the camera’s filter, we see soothing light, and the powerful stillness of the desert itself.
So, that’s how she did it! Once again, Lucia Pica outdid herself with this collection. I must have it! And, so should you!!!!
