Juvia’s Nubian 3 Coral Palette

Eye ShadowsEyesMakeup

I’ve always love Juvia’s Eyeshadow, and Blush Palettes. For one thing, I don’t know that there are other brands that are as constant as Juvia’s!  At every turn, All of Juvia’s Palettes have the highest quality formula   First of all, did you know that Coral has been the Pantone Shade of 2019?  Not only is it  the color of the year, Coral  flatters  everybody.  As a result, Juvia’s Nubian 3 Coral Palette is more user friendly than you think!  First,  is equal parts warm and cool.  Hence, coral is neutral.    In fact, Coral shades are more every-day colors than the popular rose golds , pinks and reds that are so popular now.

The Nubian 3 Coral Palette is a deeper palette.  That is, it’s deeper because, most Coral Palettes are light, and bright.  In addition, the Nubian 3 is not all coral.  In fact, the palette is equal parts grey, reddish/coral brown, and coral.  Interesting, this color story really works.

The Inspiration For Juvia’s Nubian 3 Coral Palette

To begin with,  Queen Nefertiti was the inspiration for the Nubian Palettes. Furthermore, Nefertiti was famous for her beauty, strength and spirituality.  Also, if you are looking to add more color , try Nubian 3 Coral with The Saharan Palettes.

First, the Nubian 3 Coral Palette’s outer box is a shiny, bright coral shade.  Also, Juvia’s Place signature style is a painting of an African Goddess on the front of the box, and usually on front of the compact.  The bronze African Goddess is an Egyptian Queen..  Also, the Queen is wearing a gold and coral Egyptian styled headdress.  And, the Queen wears gold necklaces.

Next, the thin palette looks identical to the outer box.  Inside, instead of a mirror, is what looks like a gold stamped design.  Furthermore, the gold is reflective, and iridescent when hit by the light.  On the other side are the 12 Grey, brown, and coral eyeshadow pans.  Aesthetically, the palette is pleasing. Also, the compact has a magnetic closure.

Above all, the shadows have no names.  It feels weird talking about shadows that have no names.  In fact, I really feel bad for the shadows. It reminds me of the U2 song, where the streets have no names!  Kinda strange, right?

The Juvia’s Nubian 3 Coral Palette Formula

First, and foremost, the pigmentation is outstanding in this and all of the Juvia’s Place Palettes.  Furthermore, I love Juvia’s matte formula.  For one thing, the mattes are richly pigmented.  Therefore, the matte shades’ colors are bold.  Even more, the matte formula is super smooth and really soft.  And, the matte shades glide on like butter.  Additionally, the mattes are super easy to blend. And, they have minimal fallout.

The shimmers pack a punch on your eyelids.  Although, the shimmers have a bit more fallout than the mattes.  As my favorite Makeup Personality, Wayne Goss, says, “they are eyeshadows.  What do you expect?  Eyeshadows have fallout.  That is all there is to it!”  I love You Wayne!

To start with, there are six matte shades and 6 shimmers in the Nubian 3 Coral Palette.  I like that the amount of finishes are even,  a 50/50 split!

Row 1

First, Row #1 has most of the Grey Shades.  Furthermore, there are three shimmers on row 1.  And, there is one matte shade.

Shade #1

To begin with, Shade #1, a silver shade with a white base, has a shimmer finish.  For one thing, I love that shade #1 looks wet.  Also, I would wear this silvery shimmer shade on the inner corners of my eyes.  Also, I could wear the shade on the inner third of my eyelids.  Even more, wear this silver shade as a highlighter, on your brow bones.

Shade #2

Next, Shade #2, a deep grey shade with a blue undertone, has a matte finish.  First, I love this blue/grey shade in the creases of your eyes.  Also, you can wear shade #2 on your eyelids.  Even more, wear this grey blue shade on the outer corners of your eyes.  Finally, use this shade to line your lower lash lines.

Then, Shade #3, a deep grey/blue shade, has a shimmering finish.  Use this metallic shade to add dimension to the matte shadow.  Also, wear this metallic grey/blue shade on your eyelids.  Wear it on top of the matte grey shade to give it more dimension.

Shade #4

Last, Shade #4, a peachy/coral shade, has a shimmering finish.  First, I would wear this coral shade on my eyelids.  Also, use it to emphasize a matte shade in your crease.  Also, wear it on your lower lash lines, on top of a matte shade.

Furthermore, Row 2 has the toasty, warm, rich shades.  Two of the shades are metallic.  The other two shades are shimmers.  I like to call this row the brown shades.

Shade #5

To start with, shade #5, a deep red shimmer, with some peachy/coral reflects, has a shimmery metallic finish.  First, I love this deep red shimmer in your crease.  Also, I like it on the inner and outer thirds of your eyelids.  Also, I would love to see Shade #5 over the matte reddish/brown, in the palette, to give both colors more dimension.

Shade #6

Next, Shade #6, a reddish/chocolate brown shade, has a matte finish.  For one thing, I love this shade to line your lower lash lines.  Then, add shade #5 to mix the two together.  Also, use this reddish chocolate brown shade in your crease.  And, use it on the outer corners of your eyes.

Shade #7

Then, Shade #7, a chocolate brown shade with some coral reflects, has a shimmering metallic finish.I’m loving this shade too!  For one thing, it looks chocolate brown in the pan, but on the skin, it looks like a deep bronze shade.  Therefore, I would love this shade in the crease,  Also, wear this bronze brown shade on your eyelids.  Even more, wet the shade to make it even more intense.  Also, wear this shade to line your lower lash lines.  Also, wear it wet, and pop it in the center of your eyelids.

Shade #8

Last, Shade #8, a pink/brown shade, has a matte finish.  First, this shade is really unusual.  It looks like a pink/ brown shade in the pan.  On my skin, it takes on a coral/brown /pink look. One, wear this shade in your crease, on your lower lash lines, and on the outer corners of your eyes.  Also, I love shade #8 on your eyelids.  It is a beautiful shade, that looks great anywhere you put it.

Row 3

Moreover, Row #3 Has the lightest and brightest shades in the palette.

Shade #9

To start, Shade #9, a pink-coral shade, has a matte finish.  And, I know this is an eyeshadow palette.  However, I think I just found a fabulous blush!  In fact, before I even put it on my eyes, it went on the apples of my cheeks.  Anyhow, I love this shade in the crease.  Also, wear #9 (it sounds like a perfume!) on your eyelids.

Shade #10

Next, Shade #10, a taupe shade, has a matte finish.  I’d use this taupe color as a transition shade.  Also, it is really light, so I think it works best brushed over everything, to even out the shadows.  It barely shows up on me!

Then, Shade #11 is the brightest shade in the palette.  Also, shade #11, an orangey-coral shade, has a shimmering finish.First, I love this shimmering orange coral in the inner corners of your eyes.  Also, use it in the middle of your eyelids to give your eyes a pop of color.

Shade #12

Last, Shade #12, an orange coral shade, has a matte finish.  Use this shade in your crease.  Also, use it on your eyelids. Then pop shade #11 in the center of your eyelids to make your eyes pop.  Also, use shade #12 to line your lower lash lines.

Juvia’s Nubian 3 Coral Palette Last But Not Least…..

JUVIA'S NUBIAN 3 CORAL PALETTE
JUVIA’S NUBIAN 3 CORAL PALETTE

The thing I love most about this palette is, it is a neutral palette.  Therefore it can be worn to work,  to the store, and to go out to lunch with your girlfriends.  But, it an be amped up to wear at night, to a movie, or to a new years eve party!  I love the grey in the coral palette.  You can wear the greys by themselves.  And, you can mix them with the other shades in the palette.

So, this is an interesting palette.  Also, the colors are unexpected, which makes the palette even more fun.  Although, the palette is come-at-able!  You aren’t afraid of it.  In fact, many people don’t think this is an exciting palette at all.  They are WRONG!  There is more you can do with this palette than a lot of the more “exciting” palettes!  And, it is a workable palette!  In other words, the looks are easy to create with this palette.

I’d love to hear what you think about this palette.  You see, when you pull it apart, you can find so many ways, and so many looks to wear and create.  It looks boring, but it is not boring.  There is a lot to work with in this palette!  I really love it!

I purchased Juvia’s Nubian 3 Coral Palette at ULTA ($20).  You can also purchase it on the Juvia’s Place Website ($10).  The palette sells for $20.  Although, right now, you are able to get, on Juvia’s Place Website, for $10!  Now, that is a bargain!
