Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Quads are her new Holiday 2019 quads. Also, there are three eyeshadow quads and four lipsticks in this collection. As a result, I purchased two of the quads, and one lipstick. First, the description for the Iconic Illumination Quad, Incendiary metallics will set your eyes ablaze!” And, the shades include burnished bronze, gleaming golds, and a fiery Bordeaux shadow. Next, my favorite palette is a quad of luxe jewel tones. The Nocturnal Nirvana Quad’s flashes of color will “adorn your lids.” Therefore,, the shades in this palette are turquoise, a rich purple, a duo-chrome emerald, and a diamond sparkle. Also, the Nocturnal Nirvana Quad has the most electric hues. It’s party-ready for the holidays!

I didn’t purchase the Ritualistic Rose Quad. The reason is, it wasn’t yet available on the Sephora Website. Although, I might get it still. For one reason, the shades are flashes of golds, molten bronze and radiant roses.

You can find the Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Quads at Sephora and on Pat McGrath Labs.com. Also the Palettes cost $65. Yes, $65 dollars is a lot of money for 1 palette! However, there are several reasons why the palette is so expensive! First of all, the packaging is expensive because it is the same packaging as all of the Pat McGrath Mothership Palettes. Another reason these particular palettes cost so much money is Pat only uses her “Special Colors” in the Blitz Astral Quads.
What Are “Special Colors” in the Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Quads?

To begin with, if you are a fan of Pat McGrath’s Mothership Palettes, you’ll know this answer! At the end of each Mothership Palette, there are four incredibly “special” shades. In other words, these shades are different from the rest of the shades in the palette. One reason is, the these special shadows have a whole lot of more sparkle than the other shades. Furthermore, some of the special shades may have a duo-chrome finish. Also important to note, dupes are hard to find for the four special shades.
Yes, you might find the perfect color dupe. However, you aren’t going to find a dupe that has the same texture, and the same color payoff. Even more, these special shades don’t have a matte finish. Supposedly, it costs more money to make the special shades! Finally, in the Pat MCGrath Blitz Astral Quads, all of the shades are “special.”
The Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Quads Mothership Packaging

For one thing, the Blitz Astral Quads have the same packaging as Pat’s Mothership Palettes. First, the palette has a large outer envelop that houses the palette, inside. Also, you need to unwrap the red string, much as you would a legal-sized brief, to open the outer packaging.

Inside, is the luxe, heavy duty palette Mothership Palette.

Also the palette has Pat’s signature hieroglyphics on the cover of the case. The only difference is the size of the case. The Mothership Palettes are rectangular. Also, they are quite large.

The New Pat MCGrath Astral Blitz Palette is a square, about one-third of the size of the Mothership Palettes. Also, the palette has a lot less shadows inside. However, the palettes feels weighty. Moreover, the black lacquer case is so luxurious. In addition, the case has a magnetic closure. And, it includes a large mirror. Mirrors are my must have item that should appear in every palette. Don’t you think?
The Formula For the Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Quads

First, The Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Quad’s have a hybrid formula. As a result, the formula combines powder, cream, and fluid textures.

Also, the shadows are easy to pickup. In addition, the shades have opulent color payoff. And, the shades are iridescent and have a sparkling shine finish.
