Urban Decay has created a new, miraculous palette. It is the Born To Run Eye Shadow Palette. The inspiration for this palette came from people, like me, who travel. Why? How much makeup do you bring with you when you travel? To begin with, I am the worst makeup packer, because I bring palettes I don’t even wear at home. Furthermore, I bring about ten lipsticks, a few mascaras, a couple of blushes, and highlighters and contour powder. Moreover, after I’ve zipped up my suitcase, I throw some more makeup into my handbag. OMG, I forgot the teal eye liner, the waterproof mascara, and the darker foundation stick! So, I throw some more into my husband’s carry on bag! And, as I’m running out the door, I stick another lipstick in my pocket – just in case!
I love the looks I get from the security people going through my bags! After seeing how much makeup I am carrying, they look up at me, and realize that I don’t have a stitch of makeup on! What???

Oh, well!! Urban Decay has come to the rescue, for people like me, with their New Born To Run Eye Shadow Palette. The inspiration for the palette, people who travel , must have come about because, I guess, more people are like me than I thought! What makes this palette so special is, it has everything you’ll need, in terms of eye shadows, for any trips you take, and any looks you’ll make, in one palette. And, it is Universally flattering. In other words, it looks great on any skin tone, and any lifestyle.
You can find the Urban Decay Born To Run Eye Shadow Palette at Sephora, Urban Decay Website and Ulta. The palette retails for $49.
Born To Run Eye Shadow Palette Packaging

To begin with, the packaging inspires me. First, Urban Decay shares awesome pictures printed on the palette . The images show different travel destinations from all over the world.

And, basically their message is, you’ll find the perfect shadows while on your exotic vacations; trips to Europe, South America, Asia, Africa, Australia and all of your destinations in the United States. Even when you are in Iceland watching the Aurora Borealis at three AM, the palette has a color for you! From Beach to Snow, this palette is ideal for women on the go!

Furthermore, the compact is a hard, plastic case. Moreover, the case has a magnetic closure. And, the compact also includes a nice big mirror!
Born To Run Eye Shadow Palette Formula

The shades, like all of the Urban Decay Shadows, are soft and buttery. Also, the shades blend together easily. Above all, the shadow pigments are “insane”Also there are several finishes. For example, there is a mix of matte, satin and foil-like shimmers. There is also a duo-chrome! There was not a lot of kickback from the shadows. However, with mattes, especially, there always is some amount of kickback.
Born To Run Eye Shadow Palette Shades

Also, the shades inspire me. Aesthetically, Urban Decay did a great job placing the shades in the compact. There are 21 shades in the palette. I love that the palette has every color you could think of!
