VIOLET VOSS GLAMINGO FACE PALETTE

Who is Violet Voss?  I’m not sure Violet Voss is even a person.  In fact, I’m thinking Violet Voss is just the brand name.  Besides the name, the brand is from California.  I asked makeup artist extraordinaire, Meredith, at the Sephora in King of Prussia, about the brand.  She informed me that it is just a name, and there are many makeup artists behind the brand who created the name and the products.  Anyhow, we can all agree that Violet Voss is a relatively new brand.  Also, it is brand new at Sephora.  In addition, Glitter has made the brand well-known. Everyone loves their glitter! y also have many gorgeous eye shadow palettes.  Finally, they launched a face palette.The inspiration for the Violet Voss Glamingo Face Palette came from tropical colors that are perfect for the summer. And, most everyone will look great in the universal colors.

Sephora.com carries Violet Voss , which includes the Violet Voss Face Palette.  The palette retails for $45.

Violet Voss Glamingo Face Palette Packaging

The palette is rather large . The compact is heavy cardboard.  Inside, there is a huge mirror on one side.

On the opposite side of the mirror are the six color pans. Furthermore, the pans contain full-sized Highlighters, Blush, A Contour and a Bronze shade.

First, on the top row, the two shades are blush.

On the left is Flamingo.  To illustrate, Flamingo is a pure peach shade.  To the right Sweet Cheeks is a soft pink shade.  Next, on the second row, the two shades are highlighters.  First, the shade on the left, White Sand, is a pearl ivory.  Second, the shade on the right is Paradise, a peachy nude.  Also, it has a multi-dimensional rose gold.  Last row, the contour and bronze shades define your features.  Bronze Goddess, the shade on the left, is golden tan. And, on the right is, Fake N Bake, a shimmering rose copper.

Violet Voss Glamingo Face Palette – The Formula

Whomever Violet Voss is, I commend them for creating the most delicious, buttery formula.  In fact, when I touched the shade Flamingo, I actually thought it was a cream.  However, I realized that it was a powder!  Therefore, the shades are so creamy, that they blend easily.  And, all of the shades are rich in pigments.  Moreover, the shades are easy to apply, and they wear for a long time.  In fact, the formula is right up there with the big guns, like Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath!

Violet Voss Glamingo Face Palette – Last But Not Least……………………

One thing is, remember that the first row of colors goes on your cheeks!  Next, the second row of colors will enhance the high point of your face and highlight your features such as, your brow bone, cheek bones, bridge of nose, Cupid’s Bow, etc.  Finally, use contour and bronzer applied to your cheeks, temples, and jawline to add definition and define your features.  Although the size is big enough to hold six full-sized pans, I am planning on taking this to Europe with me.  I think it has everything I need for my face.

Therefore, I won’t need to drag six different face products with me.  The Natasha Cheek Palette is too big,(they do have a mini) and I’m still waiting for Pat McGrath to make a cheek palette!  I’m really excited to find out  what else Violet Voss has up their sleeves!
