I am constantly looking for a great makeup base. First, I look for coverage that I want to look natural. Second, I crave a product that keeps my skin hydrated. In addition, I love the idea of a tint for Spring and Summer when rising temperatures cause my foundation to melt all over my face. So, I visited makeup artist extraordinaire, Meredith, at Sephora this week. And, it was Meredith who gushed glowing recommendations about the New Lancome Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint SPF 23. In fact, not only did she rave about the tint’s sheer, buildable coverage, she also loved that the moisturizing tint has ” good for your skin” ingredients. In fact, it even has an SPF 23. Lancome sells the Skin Feels Good Hydrating, Moisturizing Tint for $35.
Lancome Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint Packaging

The packaging is travel-worthy because it comes in a plastic tube. The tube has a pump that dispenses the right amount of product to cover the face.
Lancome Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint Formula

First, I love that the formula allows the skin to breathe. Next, the tint is easy to apply. Moreover, it has good pigmentation. And, it goes on smoothly and blends well. Also, the formula is so lightweight that your skin is able to shine through. Another plus is the fact that the formula does not contain any oil, yet it melts into your skin. In addition, skin loving ingredients include hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture and plump your skin. Also included, Moringa Seed extract revitalizes the skin. In addition, it protects the skin from free radicals. Equally important is the SPF 23 protection that is included in the ingredients.
Lancome Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint Shades

The hydrating Skin Tint comes in eleven shades. The colors range from Porcelaine, light skin with cool undertones, to Real Suede, Deep skin with cool undertones. I am Radiant Tan, medium to deep skin with neutral undertones. Although, once my Key West tan disappears, I will have to go to a lighter shade. Clearly, only 11 options may seem limiting. However, once they are applied, the shades adapt to your skin tone. Therefore, the moisturizing skin tin is perfect for all skin types and all skin tones. And, the tint can go anywhere from sheer, light to medium coverage.
Lancome Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint Application
Again, the Lancome Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint is easy to apply. First, begin at the center of your face.

Next, apply the product.

Then, blend the product outwards.

For even more coverage, build the product where you need it, such as on trouble spots.

The product will pretty much just melts right into your skin. And, it does an amazing job covering imperfections (like the red scratch on my arm).
Sum
Specifically, the skin tint actually feels like skin.

In other words, my skin had a skin-like finish. And, I felt I had healthy, dewy, radiant skin. I think it gives the skin nicer coverage than many other moisturizing skin tints. Also, my skin felt hydrated and clean. The tint has a fresh scent that smells like a hint of rose water. In fact, rose water is also very good for the skin. More so, I love the fact that there are skin care ingredients in the product. Finally, this product does not need to be set with a setting powder! And, especially in the summer heat, who really wants to put more products on your skin?
One more thought, if you are thinking about comparing the Lancome Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint SPF 23 to It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream, I think the Lancome product is not as heavy on the skin as the It Cosmetics CC Cream. It may be similar, but it really isn’t the same! What do you think about the Lancome Moisturizing Skin Tint? Let’s Chat in the comments below!
