Dior Limited Edition 5 Couleurs Rich Pigmented Color and Effects Eye Shadow Palettes ($62) are the new and improved Dior 5 Couleur Palettes that have been reformulated to include more intense pigments and richer effect. There are 12 different colorways in this Limited Edition Collection for Summer 2017. The collection emphasises Dior’s expertise using color and texture in one palette. I purchased two different colorways, Electrify #357, and Inflame #767.
All 12 Palettes contain five shades in each, and each combination of five shades were designed so the shades and effects can be blended to create perfect balance and an incredible amount of looks. Each palette also includes a variety of textures for styling the eyes using a layering technique.
The luxuriousness of the Dior Compact is emphasized with a beautiful navy velvet, CD embossed, pocket to insert and protect your palette.
Each palette also includes two double-ended applicators. Each applicator has a rounded foam tip on one side, and one has a pointed foam tip for lining on the other side, and the other applicator has a brush on its other side. The applicators are small, but are designed to be used for the different looks you can create with the palette.

In both Palettes the color in the pans is exactly the same after it has been applied to the eye. The non-powdery texture blends to a fine film that is long wearing and leaves a finish that fuses into the skin acting like a “second skin” The formula is richly pigmented so your end result will be bold and true color.

- Your possible eye looks are endless. If you are interested in creating a more natural looking eye with any of the palettes in this collection, start by using a medium shade (to open up your eye) placed on your entire lid using one of the round foam applicators. To add definition, use the thin liner tip applicator and apply a darker shade along the lashline. Next, use the brush applicator with a lighter shade to highlight your brow bone and the inner corner of your eye.

If you want a more dramatic eye, you will need greater contrast and structure. Apply a medium shade on your entire eyelid. Then apply a darker shade along the lashline. Then blend over your entire lid and outward using the brush applicator. Last, using the round, foam applicator, highlight with a lighter shade, your brow bone and the inner corner of your eye.
You Are Awesome!!!
